Evolve – Jocul va deveni free-to-play

Turtle Rock a anuntat faptul ca Evolve va deveni free-to-play.

Cei care au cumparat jocul, vor primi statusul Founder, vor pastra toate add-on-urile cumparate si vor fi rasplatiti cu cadouri si acces la tot ce se va mai lucra atata timp cat jocul va fi in dezvoltare activa.

Turtle Rock are in plan si o schimbare majora, asa ca shooter-ul va intra din nou in beta pe PC. Studio-ul va face un rework pentru clasa hunter, ce are ca scop balansarea meta-ului, care in momentul de fata se bazeaza pe capcane si medici (foarte talentati). Hartile si interfata vor fi umbunatatite, progresul si tutorialele vor fi schimbate, si vor fi mult mai multe opriuni ce au ca scop customizarea.

Pe langa aceste lucruri, Turtle Rock va imbunatati performanta in general, timpul de incarcare, stabilitatea, si vor incerca sa scape de bug-uri.

When Evolve launched, the reception wasn’t what we expected. Sure, there were some good reviews. There were also bad reviews.

Yes, there was excitement. There was also disappointment – for players and for us. The DLC shitstorm hit full force and washed away people’s enthusiasm, dragging us further and further from that first magical pick-up-and-play experience.

Since launch we realized Evolve has provided people some of their most exciting gaming moments and we want to make more of those for everyone… well, everyone who is OK with being periodically murdered (brutally) by terrifying alien monsters.
